Our training

Our mission is to deliver practical addictions therapy training to existing psychotherapists and counsellors and therapists in training.   â€‹

Our Training Formats

  • In-Person Workshops: Hands-on learning in an engaging, collaborative environment.

  • Live Online Sessions: Interactive virtual workshops you can join from anywhere.

  • Bite-sized training: Focusing on a specific area of addiction therapy

Flexible Training Options

We offer a variety of training days and formats designed to fit your organisation's needs. Whether you prefer immersive full-day sessions, bite-sized classes, or an interactive online experience, we’ve got you covered.  We currently offer: 

  • 2-day training (typically 14 hours of structured teaching, including breaks)

  • 1-day training (typically 7 hours of structured teaching, including breaks)

  • Half-day training (typically 4 hours including breaks)

  • Motivational Interviewing and how to apply it to addiction

  • Working with decisional balance

  • The role of shame in addictive processes

  • The therapist's role in addiction therapy

  • Urge surfing

  • BioPsychoSocial model

  • Basic Human Needs

  • Identifying client strengths
